David
received a $49 eighth payment.
"I saved part of the money I recently received in our table banking group to boost my savings which are quite less compared to what the rest have. We also agreed as a group that we should be saving most of the money whenever we can for better use when after good savings have been made. I then added some of my own savings to the rest of the money and bought aa three-seater chair."

"With three of my children joining secondary school next year, I feel that Give Directly's intervention is quite timely. Such a responsibility requires alot financial muscle which I do not have but am thankful now because GD will be of much help as I will spend most of the transfers on their fees and shopping. With the rest I will purchase oxen to expand my farming and increase stock in my catering business. "

"The biggest hardship that I am faced with is maintaining a family alone as a widow.
I have four children in school but providing their needs is such a big charllage to me.
I do not have land that I can cultivate to get food so I do casual labour most of the time. Sometimes I have had to borrow small portions of land to cultivate but what is produced is not usually enough to take care of the family the whole season.
Life is not easy.
