Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new or additional goals for my life for the next four months is that I am planning to put up a home. Currently, I am staying in my parent's home, and as you know there is no freedom because you have to abide by the rules. Having my own home will enable me to some developmental projects like starting poultry farming and also dairy farming which are my main dream.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I thank Give Directly for choosing me as one of their beneficiaries. This is because they have relieved me from the burden of paying school fees for my children. This used to be my biggest worry considering I didn't have a stable job. I am glad my kids can now study peacefully without being sent home because with the help I get from Give Directly I am able to pay their fees on time. So far this is the biggest difference in my life. For the first time in my life, I have had peace of mind because I am able to provide for my family and have my kids study well.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I'll have enough freedom to do other developmental activities like dairy farming and poultry keeping. Having implemented these projects will enable me to have an additional source of income because I will be selling eggs to get money and also chicken. I won't have any difficulty in paying school fees and providing for my family and this is my expectation in the next six months.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Not only have I been able to comfortably afford my children's transport to school through the GD transfers, but I was also able to pay for my children's school fee on time. This allowed my children to get to school on time and also have ample time for their studies.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I'm currently staying in my parent's home. I do not feel comfortable staying in their home because it has deprived me of the freedom to make a lot of investments since I do not have any say in the parent's home. Therefore, for the next four months, I have an additional goal to save the coming transfers so that I can later purchase the building materials which I'll use to construct my home.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
My children normally attend a school which is far from home. The transport cost is normally too high and since I do not have a reliable source of income it has been costly to raise their transport to school. I'm glad this is not the case anymore because through the GD transfers I have been able to comfortably meet the transport expenses.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Currently, I have a goal of saving some money so that I can later purchase the building materials which I'll use to construct my home. I'm hopeful that in the next four months I'll have constructed my home. This will give me the freedom to make certain investments. I'm, therefore, planning to save some money so that I can purchase cows for rearing. I believe that in the future after the cows will have given birth I'll be able to get enough milk for the family. This will save me the cost of purchasing milk daily.

I have no new goals currently just but to ensure that my children stay in school without being sent home for school fees.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have managed to pay school fees for three children in high school. Before this was a struggle and at there are times they were forced to stay back at home as I tried sourcing for income to settle their school fees.

I expect to have a relief in the next six months when I will be harvesting from my farm as well as receiving transfers from GD. With this income, my budgeting will have been made easier.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Before the transfers, I used to really struggle with feeding my family due to many family needs and my income was very low. I tried venturing into a business to boost my income so as to be able to provide for my family well but due to many family needs, the business collapsed. I went back to ploughing for others and doing odd jobs in the village. My daily income was too small for buying three meals in a day. I am glad with the transfers, I have been able to provide all the tree meals in a day for my family and if we miss any meal these days, it is an unavoidable condition.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My nerw goal is to buy building materails which I will use in building my own house in my own home. As the first born of the family, I wuld want to lead with a good example by not staying in our home for long. I would want to creat space for my younger siblings by building my own home.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have been able to pay my children's' school in time. Before the transfers, I used to struggle to pay school fees for my children because of my low income from casual work. The income was not sufficient enough for our daily needs. In most cases, I would have to sell part of my harvest to supplement my daily income so that I can be able to meet my family demands. This was not easy because my financial status was worsening each day. Anytime I fell sick, I could not sit at home to rest because if I stayed home for a day, the needs will be too many to handle. Receiving these transfers has brought a lot of ease in my life. In as much as I still don't give the best to my family, but their education is well catered for and they are rarely sent home because of school fees.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I plan to pay school fees for my children. I would want to play my part as a father. I feel very happy when my children are happy. I do not like the condition in which I was in when my children would go for casual work to help me raise money to pay school fees. This was embarrassing hence I would not want that to happen anymore.
