"With the initial transfers I managed to buy five goats and also I managed to build a house as stated earlier our house was almost falling apart and the roofing had so many holes that even when it rained my children and I would spend the night trying to find a corner to avoid getting soaked in the rain. But since I got the second transfers I have yet to use them but I intend on getting livestock which includes around four cows where one goes for KES 12,000 which will make a total of KES 48,000 and I want the cows to eventually help me in plowing the land and making the job easier, faster and less tedious for me."

"My heartbreaking issue am now facing is my sick mother. My mother paralyzed her hand and leg, a condition that has led us becoming her only aid. I have to go there almost every week to check up on her. The fact that I have unreliable source of income, it's a very sad situation because I miss some days to visit my mother due to lack of fare. From here to where my mother is located, I have to spend 1000KES to and fro. I can not afford this amount on weekly basis since I have other things to take care of."

"I have been a full-time housewife for the past 10 years. My husband works as a casual laborer in town. My longing has been to have a stable source of income but due to financial constraints, this dream has never come to pass. I am overjoyed to see that my dream is about to be fulfilled. I am planning to spend 70,000 KES to construct a well in one of my plots which is near the Indian ocean. In a day I can sell up to 50 jerricans and make a profit of 500 KES which is enough to cater to all my basic needs such as food and school fees. In addition, I will spend the remaining amount of the transfer to practice poultry farming which will also generate income for my family."
