Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received the transfer message i didn't believe it,so i had to check my airtelmoney balance, when i saw that the money was indeed in i was super excited , I'm so grateful and still excited although I have used up the whole transfer already.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in our daily life is we have adequate food,I and my husband we are very happy, in most circumstances during rain season we suffer with hunger but this year we managed to secure a few bags of maiz and we are pretty sure they will take us till next year.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
As you can see i live in a very small house thatched with glass,so when i got enrolled i already had plans of using the transfer to build a good house,as soon as the money got i bought a few house building materials for a start like bricks, ironsheet and Timba. With the remaining money i secured 4 bags of maize, and a bicycle that my husband uses for easy transportation and we also used a part of the money for medical expenses for my daughter and my husband since both of them have been sick.

What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest whenever I can afford to have at least two meals a day with my household especially during the evening when everyone else is here as this allows us to bond and share interesting stories and jokes the world at large
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I earn less than $5 per month through casual labour and this is not enough to feed and provide for my household since my household is huge
