Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I don't know how to read so when the transfer message came i didn't know it was the transfer,i had to search for my helper to check my balance after i heard from the other villagers that the transfers is in,my helper checked and i was told that my transfer got in aswell, the moment i learnt that,my heart was at peace i silently prayed because all my life i have never had such amount of money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is now i sleep on a matress since all along i was just sleeping on a matt(Nkeka),and also i'm sure that i will be able to be living in a good house although i haven't started yet but i know for sure that this money will help me achieve big things.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Apparently i have used the transfer to buy house building materials thus for a start,i did this because i live in a poor house and it is in a bad condition. I also bought sleeping matress plus a blanket and not forgetting food which will cover me end this year.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means a lot to me and my household. I will use this money to build a proper house and buy a matress. Most importantly I will make sure that I will buy maize so that I can have enough food for my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I have managed to find piece work and I earn some money. I mostly use the money that I earn to buy food so that my children can also be happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my daily life is lack of money. This hardship comes in because I do not work and my husband does not work. So earning money is a huge challenge for us.
