"I am a mother of four children (3 boys, 1 girl). I have been facing serious difficulties in sending my children to school. At the beginning of this year, my house broke down completely and I had to use my business money to buy zinc and fix a new house. Because of the construction of my new house, my business also collapsed, thus making me incapable to send my children to school. My husband does coal burning to feed our family but the money is not also enough to send my children to school.
So, when I get the cash transfer, I intend to start my business because that is what I know. I believe that when I put my money into business, I can better the lives of my children and husband because I will be able to send them to school and to also take care of my family needs."

"I had to drop out of school when my mother died in 2014 because there was no one in my family to help me continue with my schooling. I do not have any means of earning an income to pay my tuition and this situation has caused a serious setback in my educational journey. I really want to go back to continue my studies but I do not have the finances to do so."

"The greatest challenge I am faced with right now is meeting the basic needs of my family. My husband has three wives and has to support three families. What he gives to me for my children and I is not enough to cater to us. I am always obliged to do hard labor jobs to provide food for my three children."

"Food for sustenance, tuition fees for the children and additional cash to complete the house under construction. The house is incomplete and that if it's not completed, the rain could damage it. More besides, getting money for my children tuition fees is also challenging in that many days they are thrown out of class."

"Some of the major challenges facing me and my family is that our house is leaking over our head and being a widow I'm unable to raise money to buy zinc. Secondly, the something people can blessed me with had been used towards children tuition fees and food. No one to make farm for me and I'm not young again to attract another partner who would help me and my children."
