Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My husband came running from across the water with a big smile on his face, I knew right away that our money had come on the phone because my neighborsrejoicedearlierfor theirs. My husband reached where I was cooking and confirmed the money arrival, I felt so much joy in my heart. I was so happy and started singing praises to Givedirectly in my vernacular. I was dancing and forgot my potato greens on the fire, it burned a little because I was overwhelmed and got carried by joy. But it was a sign of remembrance that the food burned, because it was a historic day that I will forever remember. Givedirectly thank you!
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My children are my future, paying their fees without stress is my biggest happiness. The difference is that before the money, I usually overuse myself in the bush to generate my children's fees. I am now relaxed than before. I feel happy everyday in my heart.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I paid 3 of my children's school fees with my money. I paid people to cut sticks for me to start coal business, I also bought 1 tin of gas in support to the business. I bought one bag of rice to feed on as well.
