"If I am bless to receive transfer from Givedirectly, I want to build my own house so that me and my family can be happy. Where I live presently belongs to my mother in law. Even though we are not paying rent, but it had been my long term dream to build a house for my family. This is why I went to Gbarpolu County in 2016 to dig diamond which had fast money at that time, but I couldn't because the work was very hard and that I almost lost my life in the process. Then by 2018, I moved to Bowein Town to dig diamond again and met my wife, Famata Dorkuly and we started having children. Since then, my mother in law, Satta Adama who has been hosting us in her house. The diamond work didn't provide me the money I need to build house for my family, so, I started making farm and burning char coal. But the money generated from the farm and the coal burning is not enough to buy food for the family and at the same time help me build my own house. Therefore, any help that Givedirectly can render me to improve me and my family lives will make me feel happy."

"The major for now is how to raise money because I am like strange here. Before than when I was here way back, the kind of work I used to do like brushing , and cutting stick for coal, I am not strong to do those things again. And here, that is the only means so far to earn money. So because I am not able to do that, it is very difficult to get money."

"Some of the challenges I am faced with are; lack of food. I am really finding it hard these days to have food to eat because my son who was my bread winner has died. Since my son passed out at the beginning of this year, it is not easy to get food because he was my only means of survivor. Also at my age, I am no longer strong again to make farm and I am having some health problem."
