How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before I started receiving my transfers, I had a dreamt of building a new and bigger house for my family. Presently, we are all living in a house with limited space to accommodate all my children. For this reason, in order to fulfill my dream, since I started receiving my transfers I started saving money from all the previous transfers to enable me buy the building materials at once. Happily, now with my recent transfer, I added the money to my saving and I used a good amount and bought five bundles of zinc. Furthermore, I used some of the money and bought nine gallons of gasoline to saw planks for the roof, doors and windows. Additionally, I used some of the money and bought Zinc nail, roofing nail and others necessary materials.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Firstly, my thanks and appreciation goes to GiveDirectly and all their working staffs. In my opinion, GiveDirectly is the number one integrity Organization in our country right now. They have shown a high level of professionalism and transparency all through the process. Therefore, I am very much fortunate to be part of this program. However, in my judgement, I have not seen anything wrong done by GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Since I started receiving transfers, with my dream building of building a new and bigger house, I decided to saved some money from my previous two transfers for the sole purpose of the project. However, with my recent transfer I added the money to my previous saving to buy the building materials. Therefore, I used a good amount of the money and bought five bundles of zinc. Moreover, I also used some of the money and bought nine gallons of gasoline to saw planks for the roof, doors and windows. By the Grace of God, hopefully the project will be starting soon. All thanks and appreciation to GiveDirectly for the financial assistance.
