"The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of money to build an iron roofed house. My current house leaks so I have to stand each time it rains at night. This is very inconviniencing to me. I believe it is the major cause of malaria in my household beacause mosquitoes have a breeding place. I am just a small scale farmer and raising money to take care of medical bills is a big charllage."

"I have limited space to carry out crop farming hence my household realised very little crop produce each season. This does not support the needs of my family members like provision of better health, education and feeding. Givedirectly transfers will enable me buy land for crop farming. I will be in position to crop on large scale hence increase in production. They will be enough to utilise both socially and economically thus improving the living standards of my house hold."

"In the next six months, I believe that my life will have changed. I will have completed building my rental houses. I will use my transfers and the bonus I will be paid in November by the factory to complete this work. Once I finish this project, I will no longer worry about formal employment anymore. I hope all goes well and things move as planned. I attribute all these achievements to Give Directly because were it not for them I would not have gone this far."

"The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have built a better and spacious house for my family. Before we used to live in one small house which could not host all my family comfortably. Whenever I had visitors it was so embarrassing because there was nowhere to sleep. I could take them to my neighbor's house to sleep. Currently, I no longer fear to welcome visitors to my home because I have a decent and spacious house. My children are also a good place to sleep they no longer spend nights at their grandmother's house. They could walk at night to their grandmother house which was so risky for them. They could not complete their assignment because of the movement at night. Currently, they are so happy the do their assignment in time and their performance has improved so much."
