"The biggest difference in my life if I could not have received the transfer is that I could still be hiring people's cow to till my land or even using my own hand, since I could not have managed to buy the cows that I bought using give directly's money. My house also could still be in a very bad state because of lack of money."

"After separating with my husband, life has been so hard for me and meeting the needs of my family of 3 has been my biggest challenge. Casual labor is what I have known in my life and despite this job being laborious it earns me utmost 2 dollars per day. I usually spend this on food, leaving with nothing to save. Now that my firstborn is about to join secondary I was so worried that I may fail to further his studies. I am happy to hear about the transfer we are yet to receive. I will be able to aid his educational needs something that will give me a piece of mind."

Chepkoech
received a $520 second payment.
"My life is currently different from how it was in that, I managed to start a business. I currently run my own saloon which I started with the first transfer. The income is way better than the low wages I used to get as an employee in one of the saloons in our village. The money I used to get wasn't enough to cater for all my needs. It was even difficult to make future plans with my salary. The nature of payment depended on clients whom one couldn't predict when they could come by."

"My life is different from how it was in that, I was able to achieve most of my needs. Today, I have hens, cows, and sheep. I have already started selling eggs and some are normally for family consumption. This could have been different if I could not have gotten the money in that, I would still be buying eggs."

I can now plough a larger portion of land and I expecting increased yields for supporting my family. In addition, I bought a grinding mill which generates daily income that I save for my child's education and feeding."
