My life is totally different now because I have assets such as dairy cows and goats to depend on in case of any financial difficulties. I am so sure they will transform my life positively within a short period of time. In a few months to come, the dairy cows will be producing milk which will be specifically for commercial purposes and the remaining few liters will be for my family's consumption. The money that I will be earning from the sale of milk will use it in facing any financial challenge that I may encounter in my household. In addition to that, with the goats as they reproduce and multiply, I will be able to sell the offprings when they mature in order to invest the money and starting a business. From this point, then I will be having a stable source of income that will help me to meet my familys daily needs with ease.

In my opinion, GiveDirectly did not let us down in any way. One I was enrolled free of charge without being asked some bribe and the money was directly sent into my account. I was also given the opportunity to choose what I would wish to buy with financial help. In addition to this organization is so trustworthy because the money came to the exact date as was promised. I do not see any sector that GiveDirectly failed us, all went well and am so grateful.

I spent part of my second transfer on buying some livestock such as two dairy cows KES 30000. I then bought some beddings which include a bed and mattress KES 10000. This was to replace the old traditional bed that I have been using since I was married. I did enough shopping and also cleared the fee for a whole term. To me, this is so far the biggest difference in my daily life.
