"When I receive this money, I will build a low cost ironsheets house because currently replacing grass on the house is expensive. There is scarcity of thatching grass in the region because of prolonged dry spells. My husband staked some piece of land as collateral for getting a loan to pay some dowry to my parents. So, this will be an opportunity for us to pay back the money and regain our piece of land."

"The biggest hardship that I am faced with is poverty. Being a single parent, I have the responsibility of taking care of all my household needs as an individual and yet there is no clear source of income. The little that I am able to earn from whatever small work that I engage in is spent on providing atleast basic needs for the family. This leaves me with nothing to save hence poverty. "

"Receiving this money means I will be able to build an iron roofed house. My current sleeping house is very small and worst of all, it leeks. I have not been able to buy grass to thatch it better due to it's scarcity and the fact that it is expesive. I believe when this money comes, I should be in position to get a descent accommodation. "
