"In my community, there is no shop here and getting to Monrovia to buy provisions and other things is a challenge for me. I don't know the amount that I will be receiving but when it is enough, I will start a business. If it is not enough, I will burn charcoal and sell. The money that I will receive from the sale will be added in what I will get from GiveDirectly to start a business. I am of the belief that when I open a shop here, my life will be improved because everyone will be buying from me. This will also make my financial situation to improve and I can use the profit to do other things"

"One main challenge that I face is about providing food for my children and I. Since this morning, we have not eaten anything yet and I can normally worry for my children. Looking at the way that I don't have a farm and no money, I am really facing a lot of financial issues. Another challenge is to take care of my daughter as it r to sending her to school in Monrovia. If I would have had money, my daughter would not have attended this public school in this town. I feel too ashamed of myself and I know that one day, I will have money to cater to the needs of my children and I."
