How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I dont have no new goals because i planned to build my house with the transfer. As God would have it the money came and i was able to buy zinc, nails, workmanship for contractors. The money helped me to achieve my dream in building my house.

GiveDirectly do well in so many things by helping me to get good sleeping place for me and my family. There is nothing they dont do well.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
People here in the town were talking about how they have received their transfer, so I told my daughter to carry my phone to the network coverage area so we could see if my message had come too. My daughter check and she told me "mama the money Give Directly told us about has come", I ask other neighbor if they had received the message too and they told me yes. I started to dance and sing song in favor of GIVE DIRECTLY that what they said has surely come to passed.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that now with the help of GIVE DIRECTLY I can take care of all my needs. I can now take care of my day to day activities.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I never make a farm this year and it is giving me hard time. I have a small garden that I sent my children on to get some vegetables and fruits to eat. I know that doing business will take me from all this suffering that I am going through.
When I receive this transfer, I will like to put my hand into doing business. Doing business will make me to have profit and the profit will be used for settling other problems. I can even use the money to recondition my house. My house gets wet when the rain is falling and looking that the way the rain is falling, if I don't get it fixed; it will be a very big problem for me. I will either use my profit from the business or use some of the money to recondition my house
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, the only thing that made me happy was when the final report of my children were out. For the fact that both of my children passed to the next class, I was really happy. On the day of report cards distribution, I saw how parents of other children who failed for the year felt sad because their children had failed. For me, I felt so proud and I realized that all the little money that I have been spending did not go in vain.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
One main challenge that I face is about providing food for my children and I. Since this morning, we have not eaten anything yet and I can normally worry for my children. Looking at the way that I don't have a farm and no money, I am really facing a lot of financial issues.
Another challenge is to take care of my daughter as it r to sending her to school in Monrovia. If I would have had money, my daughter would not have attended this public school in this town. I feel too ashamed of myself and I know that one day, I will have money to cater to the needs of my children and I.
