"The hardship I am facing now is financial hardship. The father of my five kids has fallen sick for about four years now and he has not recovered yet. I am the only one paying their school fees with little help from my big brother. Myself I am not educated to enable me have a job to earn more money for their welfare.
For this reason, my kids have become additional responsibilities for my older brother. He is just rendering an existence. If I am empowered by Givedirectly through their cash grant, I will bring them under my roof and take their full responsibilities. This will only be realized I have a business functioning."

"There are lots of challenges I'm facing now but the most of all is money.
I want to build a pharmacy and also have a place where I treat patients but there's no money. I'm tired of putting drugs bucket and going around in the various villages
Eventhough I sell drugs to maintain my family, the money I earn from the business, I use it to cater for my family needs and is not enough to build a pharmacy.
I will appreciate any help from Givedirectly to improve my livelihood."

"If I'm successful to receive this money I will improve my business and complete the building of my video club which I have been struggling to do.
The reason I want to improve my business and complete the building of my video club is that, the money I earn from the job I was doing, I use some to invest in to business and use the balance to build a video club because we don't have video club in this town and most of the men in this town love football games and they go to another town to witch the game. I decided that instead of them going out to watch the game let me build a video and a shop as means of earning money to maintain my family but the money was not enough to complete the building of the video club."
