How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Mu main goal.was to fix my houae. Im not well to make fatm so to survive i had to make short bread cassava bread to survive. My legs been hurting for thd last 2years which make me unable to do extra work.
When GiveDirectly came i qas extremely happy for the cash transfer becauae i will pay people to make my farm for me.

No new plan for now, I still maintain my same planned. About rebuilding my house into a modern and standard one
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is a good organization that has been doing lots of good for us. All of the work GiveDirectly has done are great and wonderful.

Although I have not withdrawn my money yet but I intend to buy 10 bags of cement, sand and planks to Star the rebuilding process.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was too happy when I received this money and I tell GiveDirectly thanks. Because I was not expecting that amount of money which I afford easily it to pay my children school fees. I'm feeling relief financially only because I have handle such an huge amount of money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Some changes have been made positively in my daily life. My children school fees has been paid which I was thinking of how to raise money to pay. I'm much more relaxed because I have means of renovating my house and I also have some farming materials for my farm projects.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used part of the money to pay my children school fees. I bought one bunch of zinc for the main time for the renovation of my house and I bought farming seedings and tools for my vegetables garden.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I received the money I will build my house because, the house I'm currently living in is my house,but theirs only one room in the house, I also have my three grandchildren livingwith me, so I want to build bigger house for my grandchildren and I to live in, I will also used the remaining money to send my grandchildren to school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm very happy because I'm a voluntary midwife for the time,all the delivery that I have done so far, I have never and every killed any mother child before,and also hearing about Give Directly program also make me few Happy, even by me getting give directly phone also makes me happy because, it is the very first time for me to hold phone, and the greatest of all happiness is that, I have life in me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenge is that, my grandchildren parents died few months ago,there's no one to help me with them, getting food for my grandchildren is also a great challenge for me because I'm not working and i don't have a spouse.
