"I have two daughters in secondary school, so I spent part of my third transfer on paying school fee for one of them. I used to spend a lot on buying milk for my family consumes, now I do not spend a lot. The remaining I spent on buying a sewing machine. I am now self-employed and get me more income. Hey
received a $467 third payment.
"I spent most of my third transfer on additional building materials such as doors, windows and iron sheets which I all used to construct a new house to enable me vacate the rental house I occupied before. I was so glad when GiveDirectly visited me in the one roomed rental house that I lived in before, consuming a larger part of my monthly income. I never expected such a big transformation in my life considering the fact that I had lost hopes completely. My spouse who was undergoing her diploma course found it rough too as she depended on me for her school fee. I am glad that I no longer pay rent and finds it so smooth attending to the family's needs."
