Grace
received a $22 sixteenth payment.
"I expect my life to change in the next six months. My family will be healthier and happier because they have been feeding well ever since Give Directly came into our lives. I am also planning to save some money that will enable me to buy a goat. This is my way of investing my monthly income so that I will be able to sustain myself and still provide my household needs comfortably."

"Receiving this money means I will be able to buy a piece of land that my children can settle in.
Being a single parent, I have to try all possible ways atleast to settle my children.
I will also buy a cow that will reproduce.
This will provide milk for my family and also take care of future eventualities. "

"The biggest hardship that I am faced with is poverty.
From the time I started my own family, life has not been easy. Poverty is the order.
I have children who need my attention in all aspects but I don't have the capacity to provide for them. Some times I feel I have just failed in life.
I don't have oxen that would support in farming so even just feeding is a charllage in my household.
There is no food."

"Receiving this money means I will be able to build an iron roofed house. The one I have is grass thatched but maintaining it is so hard now especially at my age.
Grass is hard to find due to it's scarcity.
I also hope to buy beddings using this same money.
The ones that I currently use are very old."

"I will buy the oxen, ox-plough and a piece of land for farming with Givedirectly money. My spouse is abustard and during the time of inheriting land, he received only two acres from his ucles. The land has become small since we are two women each with children. This is not enough to produce what can maintain the family and as such Iam realising famine in my family."

"The biggest hardship I face is lack of money for paying school fees. My children are bright but Iam unable to raise money for educating them hence they have ended up being school drop outs. This I believe will definitely force them engage in to earlier marriages."
