How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different from how it would have been four months ago in that I am fairing on well since I got good treatment the last time I received the transfer. The pain is not much but since I am running out of the drugs, I am worried my condition will worsen.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to continue paying for my medication. This is because I use very expensive drugs and I do not have any source of income and anyone to help me meet all the medical expenses.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life since I received these transfers is that I was able to get quality medication. I have been suffering from growth in the brain which has really caused me most of my life. I was forced to close down my cloth business to fund my medication. I had run out of finances and was just at home waiting for my death. When GD gave me the transfers, I used it for medications which have sustained my life. Without the money, I would be dead by now.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I would like to continue paying for all my medication so that I can get a better life. I do not have anyone whom I look up to hence I have to figure out how to be treated.

I hope that I will be well in the next six months so that I can go back to my business and provide for myself like I used to do before.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would probably be dead by now if I did not receive this money because it helped me see a doctor who sorted out my problem and it also enabled me purchase the recommended drugs.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My only goal is to seek treatment, get well and go back to my normal life so that I can provide for my family.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is living with duodenal ulcers yet i do not have sufficient funds for proper medication, am literally unable to do even the lightest of my duties.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day would be usually in the afternoon when i would venture out to go sell clothes as it offered opportunity to make sales and that means i would have food and be able to pay workers. As at now son, am very sick and i would not be able to have any happy moments.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to use the givedirectly cash transfer on buying medication as am in serious ill health without money to carter for my drugs. I shall also use that money to improve my farming and boost my small business. Once i manage my sickness by buying drugs, I shall be back on my foot to supervise my projects as you know most of things we do may not be successful minus the owners input.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement was running my second hand clothe business that kept me busy and its proceeds were used to pay my farming and food bills independently without bothering my kids.
