Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Having stabilized the supply of foodstuff, I also have a new goal to purchase a heifer since we would wish to start producing milk from our own cows. We currently have only one cow which although it's producing milk but during off-seasons when it is not lactating, we are always forced to buy milk from the neighboring households. This is the only reason why we would wish to add another cow in our shed to salvage us in such seasons.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Having a big family in my household has never been that easy to supply enough balanced diet. I have been working so hard for a long time even after the transfers from GiveDirectly were in. I thank God that after that we started investing largely on farming which has facilitated enough supply of foodstuff. In the last four months, the biggest difference in my daily life is the availability of enough foodstuff in our household. These are varieties of food which has ensured healthy feeding within the household. We have been able to bring most of our idle land actively into farming and this has resulted in food security and even surplus for sale.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, my expectation is to have purchased a heifer. With the current plans underway, I am much hopeful that everything will go as planned. We have started a savings plan which will enable us to raise some money which together with the contribution we are getting from the merry-go-round we will be able to purchase that heifer.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I no longer do any casual work in order to get money. This is because whenever I get transfers, I do shopping that would last us for a whole month. I at times do casual jobs to supplement the monthly transfers but I no longer strain like I used to do before GiveDirectly came into my life. I feel relaxed and happy and I thank GiveDirectly for that.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any additional goals for my life for the next four months. I feel like am not stable enough to start any project at the moment. I want to ensure that my family have enough food and dress decently as I do my research on the most viable business idea. My family has suffered a lot because I wholly depend on unreliable casual jobs. They have slept hungry on several occasions and I feel I need to compensate.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I no longer ask for my money from my spouse. I used to ask for everything and I sometimes used to get embarrassed and feel useless. It was at times difficult to ask for personal items and I would at times lie. I thank God because I can now take care of my self using the transfers I get from GiveDirectly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months. My family will be healthier and happier because they have been feeding well ever since Give Directly came into our lives. I am also planning to save some money that will enable me to buy a goat. This is my way of investing my monthly income so that I will be able to sustain myself and still provide my household needs comfortably.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because currently, my family takes their three meals a day unlike before when they had two meals a day. This has always made me a happy person especially when I remember a time when I did not have money to use in buying food. All thanks to GiveDirectly for making this happen.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
As a family, we have a new plan of buying a goat every month. This will be possible because my spouse and I have agreed to be using our transfers jointly to buy a goat and food. With this, my family will always have enough food and we will also be investing. We settled on buying goats since it is affordable and its maintenance cost is cheap and does not require a lot of energy to be put in.

I expect my life to change in the next six months in that my family will be having enough food because I will be using part of my transfers to achieve this. Through the use of our transfer, we will have bought six goats and I will be glad owning them since I do not have even one at the moment.
