Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life's biggest difference is having bought a piece of farm land that I am now using to increase on food production. This is because prior to getting this transfer, I only had one piece of farm land that I had to use given that my husband is a bastard child and was given only one piece of land that accommodated our home and at the same time our farm.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt happy as this money will be helping me gain another piece of farm land.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer Ugx 1500000 to buy a piece of farm land. I am then still spending the balance of Ugx 200000 on issues like treatment, feeding among others.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will buy the oxen, ox-plough and a piece of land for farming with Givedirectly money. My spouse is abustard and during the time of inheriting land, he received only two acres from his ucles. The land has become small since we are two women each with children. This is not enough to produce what can maintain the family and as such Iam realising famine in my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam involved toiling left and right from morning to see it that my children have food in their stomachs. The only fair time is afternnon when I have cooked and they are able to eat any food. This allows me rest and relax both physically and mentality.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is poverty. I do lack farm land and with a big number of children, Iam facing it hard to rely on causal labour and small scale farming. My family members are getting malnurious due to poor feeding condition.
