Cathreen
received a $194 initial payment.
"I spent part of my transfer to pay school fees for our son. I wanted him to settle well in school because previously, he could be sent home for even two week due to fee arrears. I decided to pay school fees for the entire three terms which have given me peace of mind because I am no longer worried about paying any amount of money in the coming terms. I have been depending on my husband to provide everything and I now that I had received my transfer, I wanted to reduce the burden. Apart from that, I bought a bed because I used to have a small one. I finally kept the remaining amount of money as savings that I will use for our son's shopping when school opens."

Rose
received a $470 initial payment.
"The biggest difference in my daily life is happiness I feel seeing that I was able to get back my land that we had given out to treat my husband. I really had no hope of ever getting this because when I think of it, I had nothing to give to recover the land as most of the assets had gone to pay for my husband's treatment.
In addition to this, I am happy as I see my house has improved in its out look as I have quality things (curtains, nice utensils, bed, mattresses among others) that beautify it."

Caroline
received a $533 initial payment.
"The moment I received the money I felt so happy. I remember it was very early in the morning when we received the message. It was my spouse who heard the message and when he checked the message he was so happy and he waked me up to inform me of the good new. We really celebrated because we have never received such amount of money before in our entire lives. We are so grateful for the support."

"The moment I received the money felt so happy. I remember it was very early in the morning. When I checked the message I did not believe my eyes because I have never received such amount of money before. I knew I would be able to buy a dairy cow to cut the cost of buying milk which has always been my bigger problem."

Joseph
received a $22 eighteenth payment.
"One of my sons is in his final year of high school and I hope that
his school fees will have been cleared by the time he sits for his final examinations later this year. I do not want his certificate to be held in school due to uncleared fee balances, hence the need to clear his school fees in time. This will also take off some burden as I will now have to worry about raising fees for his brother in college."

Edwin
received a $22 eighteenth payment.
"I have done a lot with the transfers and my only goal now is to invest the rest of them on livestock. I know it will be tough because there might be other pressing matters that may force me to spend the money otherwise, but I pray that all goes as planned and that I own livestock soon. I do not have any at the moment and I would be so proud if I bought some before the project is over."

George
received a $22 twelfth payment.
"I am currently getting a lot of pressure from my wife and her parents to pay her dowry before the end of this year. I am not at ease because I am struggling to get all the requirements before December and at the same time trying to ensure that my family is also provided for. My father has agreed to support me by giving some of his livestock for the ceremony and I hope that it will take place as planned so that from next year, I can be free to invest my transfers on other projects."
