How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Four months ago, I still had the tiny house that I built when I moved into my new home away from my parent's compound. The house was so tiny that it was uncomfortable especially having my children sleep in the living room because there was no extra bedroom for them. Over the past year, I have been saving most of my transfers and buying construction materials to expand the house. Finally, this goal was achieved a few months ago as I managed to expand the house which is now big enough for the whole family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
As the project is soon coming to an end, I have plans of spending most of the remaining transfers on livestock which to me is the best form of investment. Now that I have accomplished my goal of enlarging my house, I only wish to buy more livestock. I wiss save the transfers and buy at least six goats which I can later sell and raise enough money to buy a cow which is my ultimate goal.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Despite not having a stable source of income, my family has seen a great change over the past few months as I have managed to buy them new clothes and shoes. Buying such things is usually not so easy especially when there are a lot of other critical needs and the income is very little. My children did not have many decent clothes and would wear the same ones whenever they had to attend any ceremony which was embarrassing. Over the past few months, that has changed as we combined our transfers one the past months and bought them new clothes and shoes.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I have done a lot with the transfers and my only goal now is to invest the rest of them on livestock. I know it will be tough because there might be other pressing matters that may force me to spend the money otherwise, but I pray that all goes as planned and that I own livestock soon. I do not have any at the moment and I would be so proud if I bought some before the project is over.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
When I moved into my own compound away from my parent's compound late last year, I was only able to construct a small grass-thatched house due to low income. With the help of these transfers, my wife and I were able to save these enough money which we were finally able to use to buy the necessary materials that we used to construct a new spacious iron-roofed house.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Now that I have my own home, I want to have my own livestock of my own. It was a bit hard rearing livestock in my parent's compound because whenever I bought them, they always assumed that I had bought them the livestock. I want to start from buying goats which I can one day sell to raise money for a cow because I am not able to afford a cow at the moment due to low income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Lately, especially after building my new house, I have had an easy providing for my family despite the little income I earn from my motorcycle taxi business. This is because the monthly transfers that my wife and I receive help us a lot in buying most of our household needs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have completely settled in my compound and have a few livestock of my own in my compound. That will make my home feel somehow complete.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different than it was four months ago because the transfers have made it so simple for us to acquire basic needs. In the past, it was a constant struggle for us to raise money for rent and for buying our household items. Consequently, I am always in a position to spend my earnings not only to buy food but also to buy for my family members new dresses. They are always very smart.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal in the next four months is to continue to save my transfers and use them to buy a cow. Investing in livestock is the most viable thing I can do within my village since cows have several benefits. For instance, when my cow gives birth, I shall be able to get milk freely hence I shall no longer spend any money in acquiring milk. Instead, I shall use that money to acquire other household items.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the last four months preceding the current transfers, the biggest difference in my life is building and currently living in a new house. My wife and I had purposed to save a bigger portion of our transfers which we spent on buying iron sheets and other building materials. This enabled us to build an iron-roofed house which we had been admiring ever since we got married. However, we had not managed to build such a house due to our low earnings. I had been living in a rental house in the nearby center ever since I got married.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have built my savings which I shall use to buy other household items that I have not yet bought. These will include buying new mattresses and new blankets for my family. The items will replace the old ones, hence we shall always be able to sleep comfortably.
