Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal, for now, is to start a business. Just as I saved for the cow, I know I willmanage to save and get the right amount of capital to start the business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have never had any type of livestock in my life. I had desired to have livestock but due to low income from farming which has really reduced in the last two year, I was not able to achieve my dream. I had given up in achieving the goal until GD came to my life. I first looked down at the amount I was to receive but after a little talk with a friend, she told me of how I can make good use of the money. I was glad I talked to her because she told me of savings which I did gladly and as a result, I was able to achieve my dream of buying a cow. I thank God for GD.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I know my business will have started. Currently, I have not decided on the kind of business I want to do because I am still surveying in my area to get a good idea of good business in my area. When I will have the money, I will have made up my mind on the kind of business I want to do. I am glad, receiving these transfers have transformed my life fully.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago before Give Directly came into my life. Through their help, I was able to buy four goats. I later sold them at a higher price because they were more mature and healthier. I then used that money to buy a dairy cow that has already started producing milk. The proceeds from this dairy business have helped to establish my retail shop more. Life, in general, has become better and my living standards have also improved. I thank Give Directly for their support towards this village. I don't think anyone of us would have reached this far without their help
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goals for life for the next four months is to expand my income-generating sources. I am planning to start a retail shop at a nearby center. I feel that my community is suffering by walking long distances in search of basic items because we only have one shop that is usually not operational on a daily basis. I know with the added income I get from my poultry farm I will be able to include a variety of products and will not have to suffer again by walking long distances in search of these products.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfers is that I am healthier and happier. I was able to start a business with the funds I got from Give Directly. The amount was enough to start a poultry farm. I managed to build a small kitchen house, bought chicken feeds and a few chicken to start with. The project is doing progressing well. I have already sold a few eggs and the money has helped me in buying other basic needs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I would have established my retail shop hence additional income. Through this, I will be in a position to use the profit I get to pay fees for my children.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different because I am assured of a better yield this season. This is because with the local seeds and manure, my farm products last year were wanting and were not pleasing to the eye. With the experience of how the hybrid seeds perform I am certain of a bumper harvest.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am looking forward to starting a poultry project that will see me generate more income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference is that I have been able to do farming with a different touch. I purchased hybrid maize seeds which usually give good yields. Besides that, I did not use the local manure made from cow dung but with the transfers, I was able to buy fertilizer from the shop. This to me is a whole new chapter of farming.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I hope to have started a poultry project to help generate more income for my household. The crops will have been harvested and I expect plenty of maize in my storehouse for domestic and commercial purpose.
