"The biggest hardship I have faced in life is raising my three children in the absence of my husband. As a housewife without any reliable source of income, I struggled a lot to ensure we survive. Though at times we had to skip some meals and miss certain basic needs, I thank God that He saw us through. My husband had disappeared for more than five years in the name of searching for a job. Unfortunately, he could not send us any money or keep communicating with us. Eventually, he came home and we are happily reunited."

"The biggest hardship that we have faced is in our farming. On several occasions, we have used a lot of money to do farming but have ended up making huge losses. This has been so discouraging but we have always worked hard. We hope that with these money we will be able to improve our farming practices and be able to make some reasonable income with it."

"The lack of a stable source of livelihood is my biggest hardship. Being a widow, I have a responsibility of raising my child single handedly. To make ends meet, I burn charcoal for a living. This occupation earns me around 1200 a month an amount that is supposed to cater for all our needs. Life is very unbearable as we can go up to 3 days without food."
