How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now because i am able to improve my house. My house is grass thatched and not cemented, with the transfers that i have received i have bought iron sheets, cement and i will improve my house once the rainy season is over. Thank you Give Directly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
i feel everything that is done by the organisation is done very well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When i received my second transfer i bought materials for improving my house since my house is grass thatched and poorly built. the other amount was used to buy food. i have saved the other amount for other costs related to improving the house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy and sweet inside me because i knew this was an end to some of the problems that i used to face. Since my house was not properly thatched during the rainy season i would usually find my flour wet including where i lie down. As i received the transfer i was so happy because i knew my life would change in so many ways.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I am seeing a very big difference in my life now because i am at peace. I and my children have a better place to sleep at night because we bought some beddings. I have food to eat everyday because i managed to get some maize with the money unlike in the past. All these things have made my life better.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought fertilizer, buckets, blankets, clothes, maize and iron sheets and my children's clothes.
