"In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well by not discriminating against anyone despite our tribe, age, and religious differences. Every household was attended to and received the cash transfers sooner than expected. Therefore, for now, I do not see anything that needs to be changed on their end. "

"After receiving the second transfer, I decided to finish various projects around my house. I started doing this because I intended to use GiveDirectly to get a decent house. As a result, I spent $200 total, including labor, for plastering and flooring supplies like cement. Because I live in a beautiful house now, I feel content and self-assured. To add to the livestock investment I started with the first transfer, I also purchased a cow for $180 and three goats for $105. The investment enables me to provide for the requirements of my family because the goats may easily be sold for money if necessary. I first relied exclusively on charcoal burning, which was not dependable. Up to two days a week could pass without meals for us. As of right now, ever since I received the payments from GiveDirectly, we have had access to enough food."

"The biggest challenge as a family is lack of consistent source of income. We depend mainly on our small piece of land which dried up because of the drought. Due to the inability to raise money, we face food shortage. We're a family of 6, and feeding us all is quite difficult. This has affected the health and nutrition of my grandchildren. I live with my grandchildren, since my daughter returned home. It's difficult raising a family without a job or a source of livelihood."

"What has been challenging for us is lack of food. The last rains we experienced was three years ago. Since we depend on livestock it's difficult hearding them during the drought season. Their numbers have reduced, this stresses me. I am always worried about my next meal. If the rains don't come back it could get very difficult for us. We Buying food expensive unlike in the past when we could plant our own farms."

"In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well by ensuring that I receive unconditional cash transfers as promised. I was able to plan how I could use the money without wasting a single coin. Therefore, I did not see or hear anything that deserves to be looked into as they move to another village."

"I bought food worth 150 $, two goats for 85 $, a mattress worth 60 $ and sent 15 $ to my child who went to boarding school. We spent most of our transfer on food because we needed it. We normally grow crops on a not so fertile land and the harvest had not been good lately. My family and I really needed food and we thank GD for the transfer."

"In my opinion, GiveDirectly did a great job by first being transparent and honest with me. The most outstanding part was that they kept their promise to send the cash transfer. I had the privilege to choose what works best for me and my household as a whole. I, therefore, do not see anything that needs to be reviewed as they move to the next village. "
