"The biggest hardship I had faced in life was the difficulty in raising up my daughter as a single mother. My boyfriend disowned me immediately I got pregnant. I was not only stressed then, but was also subjected to hard labour in order to earn a living. "

"The biggest hardship that i am facing is that of dealing with sickness.Over along period of time,i have been struggling with a rare medical condition that causes one of my legs to swell extremely.I have spent so much money seeking for medication but unfortunately doctors have not been able to detect the real ailment. The worst part is that the pain just keeps on becoming unbearable by each passing day. "The biggest hardship I've faced in life was when my mother was sick, I was the only one to nurse her though I had a month old baby, my husband couldn't listen to me and even threatened to beat and divorce me. I was truly devastated when at the end my mom passed away. "

"The achievement I am proudest about was having cultivated my farm using fertilizer during the last planting season which enabled me to get high and quality harvest. I got four bags of maize and a half a sack of beans which was the best I have ever harvested from my farm. This has enabled me to have enough food since last year up-to now. I have never gone without food since then and I am also able to sell some of the maize to meet other basic needs."
