"My life will change in the long run because when I start running the business of hiring out chairs within the locality, I will be making some good cash. I will then use the proceeds of the business to buy a cow which will definitely provide milk for my family and part of that milk will also be sold out to willing buyers so from that you can see that I will still be generating more income. Apart from that, the cow will also provide me with some manure which I will put into good use by spreading it in my farm and thereby being able to get more farm production during the harvesting season."

I expect to get a good harvest and would keep some for consumption and the surplus will sell to earn money. I am planning to use the money from the surplus to buy a piece of land of my own. I am a single mother who still stays within my parents' compound. This will relieve them the burden of giving me a piece of their small land for farming."

"My long term goal involves starting a small scale business of selling second hand clothes which I will be buying in bulk from Nairobi city and later re-selling them within this locality at some profits. I have a sister who has been doing this business and from how I see her do her things, I can tell that she makes a lot of money because she started out with just a few items but today she sells her goods in huge bulk. I want to start off this business so that I can become self-reliant and self -employed so that I stop doing these odd jobs like washing clothes for people in exchange of a few coins which barely sustains my family."

"I expect my life to change in the next six months in that, I will have built a kitchen. I do not have one at the money and this forces me to cook outside which is uncomfortable and unsafe. During the rainy season, I have to incur an extra cost of buying charcoal because I can not cook outside. Nowadays charcoal is expensive after the government came up with strict laws on deforestation and charcoal burning. I know that I will be relieved of this burden when this goal actualizes."
