Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to purchase cushions for my sofa. This will enhance comfort for my visitors and also erase the embracement that I had to face whenever I had my church members visit for fellowships at home. They had to seat on frames in the form of chairs. Even though they never addressed it with me I am sure they talked about it behind my back.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference is that I have been able to purchase furniture for my household. This has been my desire for a very long time though I did not have the capability as far as finance is concerned. GD's transfers revived the dream after I received my transfers. I have been able to purchase a few furniture and my living room now looks beautiful.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the coming six months, I am hopeful that my home will look beautiful and presentable given that I will have bought new futures to replace the old ones and also get some fittings for my house.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Four months ago, I started saving the transfers and bought the household items that I used to furnish my house. I bought more sofa seats and cushions to beautify my house. The embarrassment of not having proper seats in my house whenever I received visitors is now over. My family can really afford food daily even if I do not toil in the farms to earn income. I cannot be more thankful to GD for their financial support.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I wish to save and buy more household items to help in furnishing my house and make it more beautiful so that when I receive visitors, I am not embarrassed as I always am.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Lately, my life is easy and I am so stress-free as I can easily budget and cater to my family needs. I hardly ever rely on relatives and friends for any financial support as I do have access to cash that I control the use on my own. I have some household items like sofa seat cushions that I bought using the transfers to furnish my house and I believe that is what is so different about my daily life. My visitors are now more comfortable when they come to visit as I do have the most comfortable seats.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to save more of the transfers and set up a very big business which will help in the generation of income for my family. It will be the main source of income as we will raise money to fend for our most pressing needs as a family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different because I am no longer overwhelmed with stressful situations. As a widow, I had to think of doing various casual jobs and even started a business to sustain my family. This was still not enough to settle all my needs because I spent all the wages to cater for our daily needs. I am glad that I get money from Give Directly that supplements my daily earnings. Now I can plan and meet bigger goals.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to buy seats. After the death of my husband, I left my matrimonial home for some time. I went to mourn and recharge myself by changing the environment. When I came back my house was in a mess. Most of the household items were lost and I had to start afresh. Currently, I only have two seats. I need to add more items one by one but I will start with the seats first.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I am peaceful and not overwhelmed with my expenditures. I am also sure that whenever I borrow money from someone I am certain of repaying the amount on time. I also find the goal of buying household items to be achievable. Recently I bought a big cooking pot. I used to borrow such items from my neighbours who were tired of my borrowing act hence they could talk negatively about me but I had no choice. The burden which I had as a widow was too much which limited me from achieving most of my goals. All responsibilities were on my end but with the help from Give Directly, I feel like I am relieved off some burden.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that, I will have built a kitchen. I do not have one at the money and this forces me to cook outside which is uncomfortable and unsafe. During the rainy season, I have to incur an extra cost of buying charcoal because I can not cook outside. Nowadays charcoal is expensive after the government came up with strict laws on deforestation and charcoal burning. I know that I will be relieved of this burden when this goal actualizes.
