"The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have bought a dairy cow. I used to buy milk and it was so costly for me. I do not have a constant source of income, I depend on the casual jobs in the village to earn an income to meet all the basic needs including paying school fees for my children in primary school. Sometimes when there are no casual jobs my children would miss to take breakfast and this is so demoralizing. Currently, I have a dairy cow and this has enabled me to get enough milk for my family and sell the surplus at the market to meet other additional needs for the family and also pay part of the school fees for my children in school. My children are no longer missing breakfast like before. I have devoted much of my time to my own farm and reduce the time on casual jobs. I am so happy because our living standard has changed."

"I believe that in the next six months, the business that I recently started will haver grown because I recently added the new stock with the savings that I had. In addition to that, I also bought a heifer. To me, this is the greatest achievement. I believe that in the next six months it would have matured and started reproducing. This will be an assurance that in the coming months I would start having milk which would help me feed my family and also start earning income by selling the surplus."

"I expect to have bought a cow for rearing as financial security for the family. When one is rearing livestock, he is considered so prestigious in our community and I believed I wanted to be just like thi too. The livestock comes in handy whenever I am faced with any financial constraints."

"I expect to buy more building materials like iron sheets that I plan to use in building a new house. I had moved from my father's compound to my own and I only managed to build a very small house just for the formalities. Now I focus more on building the family house that will accommodate my large family comfortably by then. I also expect to pay more school fees for my child as he is bound to join secondary school next year."

"I am still focussed on buying more building materials for putting up a house. I do not feel good that anytime I am home I have look for a sleeping place. This is the reason why I rarely go home because I am tired of hopping from one house to another just to find a place to sleep. I would want to go home feeling proud because I have my own house."

"In the next six months, my life will have changed in that I will have cleared paying my sons' school fees. This will allow him to concentrate on his studies since he will not be sent back home. I am also hoping that I will have paid for his boarding fee so that he will not be coming back home in the evening. This will enable him to always have enough time for revision, especially in the evening."

"I have been struggling to pay fees for three of my children;two are in secondary school and one in a tertiary institution.Being a widow, this has most often overwhelmed me hence I have alot of outstanding fees arrears.Receiving this money will enable me clear these arrears.I also intend to buy a cow for sh 25,000(250 usd) to add to the one I have. This will assure me of an income through milk sale. This, am sure will exhaust my first transfer. From my second transfer,I will build a good poultry house and buy chicken for rearing. The little income from this will cater for the daily needs in my household."
