"Although it was the use of my first transfer, my life is truely different in that, I am happy and relieved having managed to pay up a debt (bank loan) worth Ugx 2000000 that my husband and I had got to open up our general merchandise shop. Prior to getting this money, I always doubted if we would ever get that money paid and our last resort was to sell off some assests we had to clear that loan. Secondly, I am delighted to see that I was able to start up another business (saloon) and at the same time, boost my existing one (general merchandise shop). This will now be a source of income to my family. However, before getting this transfer, my general merchandise shop was at a verge of collapsing and I had no where to look to get money to boost it."

"My life has changed because I acquired a bed and a mattress. I now sleep comfortably as opposed to before when I slept on a plastic bag and covered with a light clothe. In addition, I also acquired a cow which I'm rearing for milk production and incase the number multiplies in future, I can sell some of the cattle to meet my basic needs. Previously I never own a cow."

"In the next six months, my life will change in that I will have plastered my house. I used part of my transfers to buy building material which I used in building a new house. Due to strong winds in my area, I would want to plaster the house to make it durable and strong for the winds. I would also want to stop smearing on a monthly basis since it is time-consuming and tiresome. Plastering the house will make it look presentable."

"I have two children in secondary school whose fees for this term I have not cleared yet. This is stressing me up especially not that I am still recuperating from the illness I just suffered hence unable to work to earn any income. I also have to clear my hospital bill first before focusing on the school fees. I hope that in six months, I will be fully recovered and the bill I currently owe the hospital will have been fully cleared and my children's school fees cleared as well. I know the transfers will take a huge part of these expenses and I am praying that when the transfers are over, I will have no debts."

"I expect my life to change in the next six months because I will have expanded the house I am currently living in. I want to add an extra room so that my young girls will have a separate room from the boys. They are growing and I felt it was wiser if we separate them early enough. Apart from that since I also bought a solar lantern I will also be having a proper lighting system."
