"If I am successful to receive the transfer I intend to establish a business that will help raise funds to educate my children. Things not really easy on us especially being a single mother who has to provide every necessary things for me and my children. The farming is not enough to provide me and the children with enough money to cover food and school fees. So, if that money come it will change our whole lives."

"One of the major challenges is getting money to fix my house, because whenever there's a heavy down pull of rain there's no way for my family and I to have a good sleep because of the lackages on my house.More besides the heavy rain could damage the entire building because the sticks are all rotten. The small business I'm doing the money is not enough to feed my family and fix my house."

"One of the major challenges facing me now is that I need money to fix my house. The house is partly broken and we don't have anyone man to rebuild it for us. We also don't have anyone in Monrovia to help with money to buy zinc, sticks and pay people to fix our house."

"One of the major challenges facing me now is that I need money to fix my house. The house has been leaking for two years now. I don't have strength to work because I am old now and that I don't have a husband to help as well. All of my children are still in school and are not working too. The only way I can get money is when I harvest my small cassava farm and sell some, the money I get is used to pay for my children tuition fees. So, for the past two years now I have not been able to buy zinc and renovate the house. This is my major challenge right now. Secondly, the children tuition fees is also another major challenge especially when the farm doesn't produce so that I can able to sell some of the products. But thank God that the farm produce this year and help me paid for the children tuition fees."

During the period recipients were explained the source of the aid and how they would manage the funds. Recipients were given power to decide on themselves how to use the cash and all neccessary advices. There was nothing which went wrong"

"Being a livestock farmer, my ambition has been to boost this career even before I got enrolled in the program. This is an activity that has been sustained us for all those years. I spent KES 24000 to invest in it by purchasing one cow and 2 goats this is because it was not stable since we experienced drought that killed most of my livestock some years back. I also used KES 10000 to clear all the school fees for my 4 children who are still in primary level. It was long since I paid their fees hence they had accumulated huge fee balances. The remaining amount assisted me in purchasing adequate food stock for the family, it has been since we had enough harvest from our farm. I was struggling to feed my family by doing casual labor of charcoal burning."
