"My life has changed for the better in that, I have owned oxen and ox-plough that I'm currently using for ploughing my land. I have got additional two acres of land that I believe will increase my yields. Before I could harvest low yields because I didn't have my own oxen and ox-plough to enable me cultivate my land in time. I used to borrow oxen and ox-plough from people after they finish using, when it's almost out of planting season."

"My life is different in that, I have bought cows that I will pay as dowry. My mind is at peace now because I'm soon fulfill the traditional requirement of a married man in my culture. I would have taken long without paying dowry because I didn't have money to buy cows."

"My life has improved in that, I bought an ox and repossessed the acres of land I had given to the money lender as secuirty. Now with the bull I bought, I can join it up with another person's ox and have my farm land ploughed on time. Previously, I used to work in other people's farm land before they could come and plough for me which at times was not very reliable. In addition, the acres of land that I regained have given me more land to plant crops hence a big harvest is expected. In the past, only had an acre of land where I planted less crops hence low yields that led to food shortage in my family."

"My life is better now because I constructed a spacious iron roofed house. With the bicycle I bought transportation is now easy. I now use solar light and my children dress well. Previously, I slept in a grass thatched house which could leak whenever it rained heavily. I moved on foot for longer distances and some times while carrying the children especially if am talking them to hospital. I also spent more on buying dry cells for my torch or enter my house in darkeness when I could not afford."

"My life has changed now, I sleep in an iron roofed house which was constructed with this money. I am sleeping on a good bed having bought a mattress. Before, I slept on a mat and in a grass thatched house that could leak during rainy season."
