How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I'm living a much healthy life. This is because, I feed well and access the treatment whenever I need. Previously, illness used to torture me because I couldn't afford better treatment due to lack of money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
According to me, GiveDirectly has done well in giving us unconditional cash transfers. However, GD has only brought developement and therefore, it has done nothing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy a cow and household items like mattress, bedsheets, utensils among others. I intend to spend the balance to pay my child's tuition.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is happiness to have managed to plaster my house and this has helped in chasing rats out of the building.

The moment I received my money, I felt so happy because I never believed this would happen to me.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent all my first transfer to plaster my iron sheet roofed house through buying sand, cement, and paying labour.

When i receive this money, i will renovate my house, buy a cow and pay some school fees for my school going son.

The happiest part of my day is that time when i have sold my produce and i receive a good amount of money.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is the illness of pressure that attacks me and i spend alot of money on treatment.
