How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed for the better in that, I have owned oxen and ox-plough that I'm currently using for ploughing my land. I have got additional two acres of land that I believe will increase my yields. Before I could harvest low yields because I didn't have my own oxen and ox-plough to enable me cultivate my land in time. I used to borrow oxen and ox-plough from people after they finish using, when it's almost out of planting season.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well to give me cash that I have used to buy Oxen and ox-plough. GiveDirectly has not done bad in anyway and I'm forever grateful for the unconditional cash I recieved.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase an ox to supplement the one I had bought with the first transfer for ploughing my land. Further more, I bought a bag of ground nuts, food, paid off all the debts and lent out UGX 200,000 in exchange of an acre of land.
