"Receiving this money means I will be able to build an iron roofed house. It is one thing that I always wanted to do but I did not have money.
Grass is so scarce these days that it actually makes maintaining a grass thatched house difficult.

"When I receive this money, I will pay back a loan where I staked some land as collateral. I needed money urgently for the treatment of my father inlaw. This has affected our agricultural practices because the piece of land we remained with is very small hence giving us low outputs. I am sure I will remain with some balance, so, I will build a low cost ironsheets house so that we also reduce the burden of replacing grass frequently."

"I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have gotten a good harvest. Some of my crops will be ready for sale. I am planning to invest more in farming because that is the most doable business in this region. One can count to get profits as long as they use the correct inputs and plant in time. The crops that grow in this region are also in high demand. Therefore one can never go wrong with farming in this region"

"I staked some piece of land as collateral to get a loan for the treatment of my ex-wife. She was too ill and it needed alot of money to treat her and upto now I have not repaid the loan and my land is not yet regained. I even don't have space for agriculture because there is no land. So, when I get this money, I will straight away pay the outstanding loan so that I can have my land back and I start growing crops on it."

"This Givedirectly transfers will enable me build iron-roofed house. I have suffered for some time now sleeping in grass-thatched. The thatching grass is too secures , costly to get and maintain. This has always affected my family development plans because the roof can leak any time and will need replacement."

"I badly need a house that is roofed with ironsheets because the one I'm in currently is grass thatched. This grass needs to be replaced atleast after every six months of which it is costly and the grass is scarce. So, when I get this money, I will build an ironsheets house that is going to save me from the hustle of looking for thatching grass. "

"The biggest hardship I have faced is lack of money to cater for the household's basic needs. This include; medical care, education and proper feeding. I would wish my family to have 3 meals a day but its not easy because there are no resources."
