Kennedy
received a $22 eighteenth payment.
"I expect to save and venture into livestock rearing by buying livestock like goats and sheep to help in increased income for the family. I am also looking into buying building materials like sand and cement to use in plastering my house which is mud smeared. I look forward to owning a beautifully plastered house that would be the envy of the entire village."

Geoffrey
received a $509 second payment.
"Before I started receiving the transfer, I used to spend so much time working on other people's farms as a casual since I did not have much to do at home, and I needed money to take care of my family. These affected the productivity of my own farm and when I bought the few livestock, I now spend almost the whole day on my farm looking after the animals and doing other activities. I am happy that the proceeds I get from my farm are able to take care of our basic needs. Apart from that, I no longer overwork myself like I used to do."

Philiph
received a $510 second payment.
"The biggest difference in my life is that I am happy and less worried about lacking water. The water tank has really helped to have clean water for use at home and for food. I am glad there are fewer cases of waterborne disease as previously was the case. I am also glad that I will soon be living in a more decent and spacious house that I built with the help of the transfers."

Eunice
received a $22 eighteenth payment.
"I expect to have plastered my house in the next six months. I have already started saving money towards this project and I believe I will have accumulated enough money to buy the necessary materials. I always feel embarrassed because I am the only one with a mud floor. Most of my friends have plastered floors and I always feel the odd one out."

Marcella
received a $510 second payment.
"The sufficient stock of foodstuff which has served us for a good number of months now since we received the transfers is our pride. We have improved in all sectors of life and we have always feel blessed that GiveDIrectly chose to come and work with us. Were it not for this program, we would still be wallowing in poverty, struggling with the casual labor which we used to do and even the debts we had would have piled to a huge figure. We are thankful that we experienced a drastic change which brought even a different mindset in our day to day handling of our routine work."

Anjelina
received a $22 eighteenth payment.
"I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I shall have fixed an iron sheet roof and replace the grassed that one by buying building materials every month with the sent transfer. This is because at the moment the leaky grass-thatched roof of my house is in a deplorable condition which has made it risky for our habitation. I am also planning to raise livestock for revenue increase."
