"The biggest hardship I face I lack of basic necessities like bedding, clothes, utensils, to mention. I sleep on a small mattress which is in pieces. My living conditions are worrying which makes my self esteem low.
Secondly, the house I sleep in I not plastered, it's very cold at night because of the holes in the wall, that makes me some times sick which reduces on my hours of work."

"The biggest hardship I face in my life is that, the house I sleep on is dusty. It makes me fall sick now and then due to the dusty condition. Frequent sickness has reduced my immunity and weakend me to the extent that I am not strong enough to dig and earn a living from it. That has made me very vulnerable and helpless because when it's the rainy season, you are sick and hence you lack food because you did not cultivate."

"I expect to save and start up a business to help in the generation of income for the family. I believe by then the transfers will have reached the end and so I need something to help in raising income continuously. I depend mostly on farming to generate income for us and with the kind of responsibilities I have, it is always not enough. When I set up the business, it will help in easing the burden of working twice as much to raise income for our upkeep."

"Receiving this money means that I will spend for building an iron-iron-roofed house. My grass thatched house gets spoilt at atime I do not have money for repairing , so we are forced to stay under unbearable conditions. When it rains our property and ourselves become wet due to rain drops from the roof. This house onces complete will provide a conducive shelter fir both my property and the family members."

"The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of money to cater for my child's education needs.
I do subsistence farming for survival so whatever little harvest I am able to get is what I utilise to provide all my household needs.
I sell part of it to provide school fees and all other requirements to see to it that my child attends school.
I would want a better future for my child but how to get there is so challenging."

"I shall have set up the business for my wife by the end of the six months. She is a new wife and needs something to fall back to in times of financial constraints. She is capable of providing for the family equally. This will help her generate income to help take care of our family."
