"The house I live in is small for a family of 6 members. It is only one room and too add to that it is grass thatched. My first plan will therefore be to build another house with an iron roof and two rooms. The current one will just serve as a kitchen.I will then embark on expanding dairy farming.I have a heifer and my plan was getting a cow which I will start milking within a short time.Milk is a good source of income since I will be selling daily and the money I get will help me buy food."

"Food Security for my family is what receiving this money means to me. I am planning to purchase an oxen and ox- plough with my first transfer which will help me to prepare my farm in time. Currently, I am depending on hiring from my neighbor which is very expensive and hard to get especially during the rain season. Getting my own oxen means increasing food production and this will sustain my family's needs."

"Failure to meet my inner desire to own a better house due to lack of a reliable source of income has been my greatest challenge in life. This has forced me to live a miserable life because my job of selling firewood earn me little income. Since my earning is low, providing my family with food is a problem not mentioning building a better house. "

"My family lives in a small hut. This has to accomodate all ten members of our family. In the evenings,my grown up children have to go to sleep in their grandmother's house because there isn't enough room here.I have always wished that I could build another house so that this one can serve as our kitchen as well as a sleeping place for the girls.Receiving this money will enable me to actualize this"

"In the next six months, I expect to have met my goal of clearing the payment of the wall unit. Once I am done with this goal I will now start thinking of what next I should pursue. Starting another project without finishing the previous one would only lead to many debts and make me a failure."

"Financial constraint is the biggest hardship that I face. Initially when I used to operate a small business of baking and selling doughnuts round the village, the situation was a bit manageable. Presently that is not the case since I am in my last trimester of pregnancy and I lack the strength to operate the business. Currently we have only my husband's income from harvesting coconut wine to rely on but it is hardly enough. So extreme is the situation such that even in my pregnant state, when food is little, I have to sacrifice my share in order for my children to eat and this affects me so much."

"I felt so happy the moment I received my first transfer. It was very early in the morning when I heard a message from my phone. When I checked it I could not believe my eyes because I have never received such amount of money before in my entire life. I immediately inform my children about the good news and they were all happy. I knew I would be able to buy a water tank because getting water was a bigger challenge for us."
