"I have a chips frier and I normally sell fries at our local shopping center. On average day i normally use KES 4000 to purchase potatoes, cooking oil and other requirements such as tomato sauce. My income from the business after I have deducted all expenses is approximately KES 2000. Receiving this money will enable me to expand my business. I will be able to rent a shop as I am currently operating from another person's verandah. This I believe will give me a bigger opportunity of earning more from the business."

"This village is very far from town and the only thing that makes us be here is the abundance of land. The problems associated with this land is that the cultivation is never done properly as we lack necessary farming materials each year. Hence, we always farm on a small scale and eventually end up not harvesting enough. Lack of inputs is always the biggest hardship we face here."
