"My husband is the only breadwinner in the house he works as a security guard in town. His wages of 7000 shillings are not enough to sustain all the basic needs such as shelter and food. In a day we approximately spend 400 shillings. Therefore, the lack of a good source of income is my biggest challenge."

"Receiving this money means a good source of income for me. Currently I depend on subsistence farming which provides food only and I need money to cater for other needs. To achieve this I burn charcoal too but it does not give me enough due to its cumbersome nature. I will therefore purchase livestock for rearing. These will include a cow, goats and chicken at a cost of 30000 shillings. Once they multiply I will be selling the produce to earn a living."

"Financial Instability due to lack of a good source of income is my biggest hardship. Being the sole provider, I struggle alot to meet my family's basic needs. Things could have been better if I had enough earnings. On a good day I take home 500 shillings but it's not sufficient because of the inflation of commodities. It is this same reason that has made it difficult for me to achieve my ambitions."

"The biggest hardship in my life is unemployment. I don't have money to buy the 2acres of land and also to cater for the basic needs of my kids . I only rely on my husband, who is doing causal labour, his salary is not enough for us to buy the piece of land and also to cater for all the basic needs of the family."

"I will use ksh.40000 to build my spacious house because currently I leave in a small house with my whole family and this usually interferes with my privacy when I am with my children. I have school fees balance in the school which have really contributed to poor performance to my children this is due to restrictions from the school that everyone has to pay the money and have full school uniform with the books for every class. I am planning to use ksh.40000 to buy a good breed of dairy to assist me have enough milk for the family and able to sell the remaining for school fees and other needs of the family."
