Mary
received a $525 second payment.
"My life is quite different in that, I now live in good and cemented house, unlike the past when I used to live in a dusty one which could generate coughing due to too much dust. I bought a cow, and this has enable me to have milk for my nutritional support as well as income to the family. I am able to sell the surplus milk to the community for cash."

Juliana
received a $525 second payment.
"My life is different as compared to the past one in that, I used to live in a grass thatched house, and when it rained, I could have hard time with the children. Most of the time, my children were to be infected with pneumonia that could result to usage of resources on medication. Currently, I can say that the family no longer experience that and the money that I used to spend on medication I could use on other development projects that could sustain our economic income."

"My life will change because by that time I will have mastered most of the saloon skills. You see right now I am still a trainee and most of the time I keep learning new skills from my teachers. Due to my passion for this work, I know very soon I will be an expert and by that time I will have my own clients, and of course I will be in a position to generate more money."

Robert
received a $526 second payment.
"I have always planned so many things that I wished to do but for lack of resources, the plans and ideas just remained as just plans. Had I not received the transfer from Givedirectly, I would not build have built and run the retail business that I currently have. This has really improved my financial status and stability despite the fact that it has only been a few months that I have run it. I also would not have bought a dairy cow for rearing because I used to work mostly as a casual and the daily wages is barely enough to even feed my family alone, let alone saving in order to buy a cow. I am so glad and grateful that Giveddirectly thought of this noble cause."
