"My life has improved as compared to how it was four months ago. I was able to start up a business which has really boosted me financially and through the business, I have been able to meet most of the family's needs without straining or borrowing from friends. In addition to that, the monthly money continues to support me even after using some of it to open a business. It has been of great help. It's an additional income and through it, I would say that my living standards have improved a lot."

Joseph
received a $485 third payment.
"There is a difference because of the pool table which I bought approximately three months ago. I have been able to generate e a lot of cash as compared to what I used to get in the past. Like I have mentioned above, I have to make sure that I save as much as I can so that I can be able to further expand the business by buying a second table.
Apart from that, I used the other cash transfers to buy a few household items which I did not have and some of those items include gas cooker, cooking pots tea table and a carpet. I also used another portion of the money to sort my rental arrears that amounted to approximately Kes 70000."
