"Most times, as a farmer i have a problem with finding money for fertilizer. I end up harvesting little produce leading to low income on my family"

"Receiving this money means I will be able to buy food for my household as I am already starving and in most cases I stay for some days without proper food just eating wild fruits and mangoes. I will also use the money to buy iron sheets for my house that badly leaks so that I deal with the issue of leakage once and for all."

"This is a huge relief as this money will enable me to buy enough food since we are starving already and we are failing to keep up. This money again, will help me to build a better house for my family; buy fertilizers so that we harvest enough food next year so that we do not have to starve again"

Claris
received a $494 initial payment.
"I spent $500 out of my transfers to pay as down payment for purchasing a motorcycle. I spent the remaining $40 on food. I intend to purchase a motorcycle for commercial purposes, where by my husband can use it to transport passengers for pay, in order to effectively provide for our three children. My husband is currently employed as a motorcycle rider. We both felt that owning our own motorbike would maximise his pay and his profits. A new motorbike costs $1080. I will spend my second transfers to complete payment of the motorcycle, so we can finally own our own motorbike."

"GD has changed my life completely. I was mostly affected by hunger almost on yearly basis especially during December to March. It is taken as the four months of hunger. This period, we only eat Mangoes or at times sleep on an empty stomach. But it is different this year because of the transfer we got from GD. I have now food that will take me now till November next year. I have also buy fertiliser, that am assured it will led to bumper harvest. My life will never be same."
