Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was very happy. But I couldn't do much because I was at the hospital with my grandson
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Ever since I gave birth to my lastborn son, he has never been well. It has always been on and off the hospital corridors. The past two months, I was hospitalized again with him because of his gums which were in pain. He was booked for operation at Mangochi district Hospital but it was not successful. He was then refered to a bigger hospital were he undergo the surgery again. Due to complications, we were asked to be going for check up twice a week. I couldn't manage to pay for transprt money from her to Blantyre which is 150kms if it was not for the transfer. I would have lost my son in the process but I have seen God's grace with the coming in of the transfer I was able to cover all medical related costs.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
