"Receiving this money means alot to me as well as my entire family. It is a relief to me because i will be able now to have a proper house as you can see that my house is in a bad state. I will also be able to pay for my children's education who are in primary school. They lack many necessities at school as a result they usually abscond classes but with this cash grant, I will make sure they do not fail to go school due to lack of learning materials."

"Staying in a village like this and having HIV is not a good situation. This is so as someone like me needs a balanced diet in terms of food and a better peace of mind. My poverty prevents me from having enough food hence further leaving me to be worrying about where the next meal will come from. Still more, I do my best to make sure the little I find feeds my children and myself. Hence, the biggest hardship is my poverty as this affects everything."

"My main concern has always been the number of people staying in this small hut. It is not spacious enough but we live in it because we have no choice. in addition, my twin sister and I have always tried our best to feed the kids after our marriages ended. Therefore, it is a relief to be enrolled into this program as this will assist us in many ways especially to have enough food and also build a better house. I am also going to sit down and decide with my sister on what business can we start so that we should be supporting the kids better. The rest will go towards buying other necessary household items such as mattress so as to sleep better at night and also food preparation utensils. The money has also given us fees for next term when these kids are starting school."
