"The biggest hardship facing me now is money to take me and my son to a good hospital to treatment our sickness and also be able to fix my house. Even though I am a widow and that I depend on picking broom stick's to sell, the money I get from the sales is not sufficient to take care of me and my son's sickness and also provide food for us. At times, I lock myself up in my room and cry severely because of what happening to us. If I had had money, I strongly believed that me and my son would have been very well by now and that our house be in a better condition as well. Any assistance that Givedirectly can give to help me and my son to improve our lives will be highly appreciated."

"If I am successful for Givedirectly to transfer me money, I intend to build my own house and use the remaining to educate my children. Building my own house has been my life time dream, but due to lack of money, I have not been able to achieve this dream. This is because our children will need an inheritance from us when we get old. Moreover, I have been making cassava farm and at the same time burning char coal so that I can raise enough money to build but to no avail because the money gathered from the farm and coal burning are never sufficient for children school fees, food and saving for the house project. More besides, where we live presently belongs to my mother-in-law even though we are not paying rent, but she has bigger boys children that are expected to inherit the house if she dies. The boys might not want us in their inheritance. Therefore, any assistance that Givedirectly will give to me that will improve me and my family lives will be highly appreciated."

"The major challenge for me here is how to raise money to do those things I mentioned earlier. As I said before, I am riding bike supporting the home, and saving some cash from the riding to be able to invest into business. But the bike riding is not giving me more money like before because I have Changed location as it relates to where I ride the bike - instead of riding in Monrovia and its environs , I am now riding in the communities around here. And that is not earning me money like before."

"My major challenge is the lack of money. I am a single parent with two children, I need money to support them by providing food for them, paying school fees, and taking care of their wellbeing. I also need money to take care of myself and start a business that will continue to yeild more money. My children father left me and went on the camp for months and has not return , I find life very difficult providing food for the children and myself everyday , because I have no one to help me."

"In 2019 my daughter and her brother dropped out of school because I didn't have money to pay their school fees. Last year my eldest son got disabled when he went to lift up weight. Up to current my son who lives in Monrovia is still out of school due to the same reason. If I receive any money from Give Directly, I will use some of the money to send my children to school, help with my son treatment and use the balance to build my house."

"On many occasions we have made cassava farms and produced gari and fufu out of the cassava to sell with the intend of using the money to support our children in school and buy zinc to change the roof of our house. From last year up to this year our fufu has been made to spoil here because of bad road condition. Sometimes we want to send the fufu to monrovia or Buchanan to sell but no car can come into our area easily so those goods have to leave here and spoil causing us serious financial loses. As I speak, we live in a house that is seriously leaking. If I get any money from Give Directly, I'll use part of it to buy zinc for my house and use the balance to send my children to school."

"I have been wishing to buy land in Monrovia as a means of building house there for my children to move and continue their education but I have not been able to do that because I don't have money for said plan. My son is in the 9th grade and might complete school soon so my major worry has been where will he stay to continue his education after high school. If I receive any aid from Give Directly, I'll buy land in Monrovia and build house for my children to stay and continue their education because we don't have any standard university in Rivercess county."
