"In my opinion , GiveDirectly did well by giving transfers directly to beneficiaries without involving intermediaries this had enabled as get the required amount of money from the donors which has improved our living standards as community. Beneficiaries have built houses , started business and enrolled children to school . I do not see what GiveDirectly did not do well in their operations."

"Currently, my life is different from how it was in that I managed to start a business. I now have enough money to buy food and other basic needs. Generally my health has improved because I have peace of mind. Before then, I used to do garbage collection and a lot of volunteering work. We used to share the little money among many youths. The situation made me skip meals or eat like one meal a day due to lack of enough money. I just thank GiveDirectly for changing my life by sending the unconditional transfers."

"My life has changed in that I have greatly reduce my daily expenditures since I can save the money I would otherwise use in buying milk to cater for my households needs like buying daily meals with ease. This is because the dairy cow I bought with the first transfer has already reproduce hence on a daily basis I am able to get 3 litters of milk from it . On the other hand , restocking my small retail shop business which is our my livelihood has also increased my daily income and I have been able to save the part of the profits which I intend to use it as school fees next year when the schools reopen to pay school fees for my children ."

"Currently, my life is different from how it was in that, I now have a stable source of income. I can save some money and buy food regularly. Previously, I used to do painting jobs. I could rarely get a contract hence making it difficult to sustain my family. Those were the tough days since I was always forced to get loans from mobile banking platforms. Having this business has been life-changing because I rarely take loans. I usually save instead. I see myself growing and becoming more stable because of this financial help."

"Receiving this money means that I will be able to electrify my house. I currently have limited number of customers taking my soft drinks claiming they need cold ones ,hence the business is not booming as expected. This money I intend to spend on connecting power in my house. I will start selling cold drinks preffered by many customers thus boosting my sales. This will definitely improve my earnings for sustain my other needs." (Occupation: Small business)

"I had identified a piece of land that I ended up owning after talking to a friend. After saving for quite some time in our merry-go-round, it was my time to get my share in bulk. I decided to top up with the recent transfer and used it to put up a boutique on the piece of land. I have already started getting something since this area has few people operating the same kind of business. I can never complain. I just finished my catering course which was fully being sponsored using my previous transfers. Being idle was the worst choice that I was going to make. I thank GiveDirectly very much for the support."

"In addition to the projects I have started with this money, I have a new goal to start a small vegetable business.
